Candidates must meet the minimum qualifications listed on the job posting in order to be considered for the position. For example, if a position requires four years of experience. You will need to have a minimum of four years of full-time experience (or part-time equivalent) in order to be qualified.
Some positions allow for substitution of education for experience and vice versa. If substitution is allowed, it will be noted in the job posting.
Each position advertised requires an application to be submitted.
When Completing the UMBC Application Form be sure to:
- Upload a detailed resume. If a position was part-time or seasonal, please indicate the average number of hours worked week
- Print out a copy of the job posting/ad to keep as a reference. The postings are removed from the UMBC website after the closing date.
